Week 48

Games, Changes to Blog, and a Birthday

Hello all!

🎂 Monday was my birthday so that day was full of celebration and activities. Got to spend time with friends and family and had a nice chocolate cake in the evening.

🦃 Thanksgiving was yesterday here in the US. Gobble gobble.

🌊 Went out to watch Moana 2 on Thursday night with my girlfriend. We both enjoyed it, though there were things that Disney could’ve done better.

🎙️ Ordered myself a Wave XLR and a Wave DX to replace my GoXLR Mini and Shure MV7X. That arrived this morning so I set that up today. It sounds much better and the XLR interface doesn’t have as much interference anymore.

💾 Redid a few things on this website, such as adding an open-graph image generator and updating to Astro v4. Planning on reworking quite a few things on this website to catch it up to speed. It’s using an old fork of AstroPaper so a lot of things are outdated and should probably be optimized.

🧹 Cleaned up some of the things I host and got rid of the ones I don’t use anymore.

🎁 Moved my wishlist’s database to a server I own instead of using Railway. I do plan on redoing the frontend of that website eventually.

🕹️ Decided to play more of the games that I own on Steam but haven’t actually played yet. Started this week with Just Cause 3. Potential review coming soon.
